Nutrition Monitoring

Nutrition file monitoring is completed by the Health Coordinator using the below template as a guide.  File monitoring is done separately from classroom monitoring.  A summary of the monitoring is written out on the Child Monitoring Report form.  All monitoring results are discussed with the pertinent staff and their supervisor. Copies of all reports are provided to the Health & Nutrition Services Specialist.

Monitoring for the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program is completed by the Food Service Coordinator.  Each site is monitored (3) times per year which includes (2) unnounced and (1) announced visit.  The below documents are used to record the USDA CACFP monitoring.  A summary of the monitoring is written out on the Child Monitoring Report Fom.  All monitoring results are discussed with the pertinent staff and their supervisor. Copies of all reports are provided to the Health & Nutrition Services Specialist.
